Semarang, Head of the Central Java Industry and Trade Office, Muhammad Arif Sambodo, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Diponegoro, M. Agung Wibowo, signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about synergy program development between the higher education and industry on Thursday, September 9th 2021. It took place in 4th Floor Dean Theater Room of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Diponegoro.
The collaboration conducted by two parties, includes educational collaboration which is covering up integrated laboratories with research centers, apprenticeships, and public lectures. Two parties also agreed on research collaboration which includes the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) development / Small and Medium Industries (IKM) ecosystem, and the development of green tourist Destinations. In relation to community service, two parties will work together on pilot project development of Small and Medium Industries (UKM) green tourist Destinations.
This collaboration is part of Three Pillars of Higher Education such as education, research, and social contributions. It is aimed to strengthen the contribution of universities as centers of research and technology development in the global industrial competition era 4.0, the Green Economy.
