The Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP) has established a partnership with Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang through the signing of an Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a Cooperation Agreement, and an Implementation of Arrangement. The event took place on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Art Center Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Undip.

The agreement was signed by DKPP Chairman Heddy Lugito and Undip Rector Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, witnessed by university leaders, faculty members, and students. The partnership encompasses research, academic forums, seminars, and various other scholarly activities.

Heddy Lugito expressed his hope that the synergy between DKPP and Undip will be realized through concrete activities, particularly in overseeing electoral ethics. Meanwhile, the Dean of FIB Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah SS, welcomed the collaboration and hoped it would open up broader opportunities for FIB students.

Following the signing, the event continued with a public lecture delivered by DKPP Chairman Heddy Lugito, themed “Students and the Safeguarding of Democracy Ethics.
